The Central Lyon County Fire Protection District is comprised of more than 630 square miles, with an approximate population of 33,000.
Who We Are
Central Lyon County Firefighters Association represent the professional firefighters of the Central Lyon County Fire Protection District. We staff 2 fire stations covering the 630 square miles and respond to all Fire, EMS, Hazmat and Rescue incidents.
Central provides the communities of Dayton, Dayton Valley, Mark Twain, Mound House, Silver City, Silver Springs and Stagecoach with EMS (Emergency Medical Services) including paramedics and ALS (Advanced Life Support), fire suppression, all hazard emergency response and public education. Our career and volunteer personnel are here when you need us, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Central Lyon Fire Protection District offers year-round public service and education programs designed to equip residents with the resources to become active participants in their personal safety.
